Hello all, I am a new first time home buyer and need to get some furniture for my house. I don't have a big budget and can't help but notice the excellent pricing on "United Furniture" on places such as Nebraska Furniture Mart. It looks and seems comfortable. But is this stuff worth giving a try?

United Furniture is generally low end, below even Ashley. Simmons sofas and sleepers were once affiliated with the Simmons mattress company which makes the premium Simmons Beautyrest line of mattresses. I don't believe the two are connected anymore. Simmons upholstery is pretty much a lower-mid line company, comparable with Ashley. Both United and Simmons are imported products.
