Two Piece China Cabinet American of Martinsville
Hello, first time poster here. I am posting a nice display piece I am interested in acquiring at an upcoming local auction and I was hoping someone might be able to give me an idea of its approximate value. I really like it, but I don't want to overpay for it. It is described as a lighted two piece china cabinet by American of Martinsville in well cared for condition. It is 82.5in tall and 70in wide. If anyone could help me with a ballpark limit on where I should stop bidding so I don't pay too much, I would really appreciate it!
Thanks :)
Re: Two Piece China Cabinet American of Martinsville
The market at auctions is very soft for pieces like that right now, I suspect you will have very few people bidding against you. Its machine made, and not particularly collectible. Probably made in the 50's or 60's. I would expect you will be able to prevail on that around $ 500. If you really want it, go $ 1K, but not much more than that. Good luck!

I don't know my wood as well as I should, anyone have a guess as to what it might be based on the photos?
