Bedroom set recommendations

I'll keep it simple: I am looking for:

a) made in the US, solid wood, reputable quality

b) I can get a king bed frame, small dresser, large dresser, and 2 night stands for no more than 6k tops

c) has at least one line that is a more modern style (a bit oversized compared to more traditional furniture- we aren't looking for that classic antique style)

There is often talk about who makes the best furniture, but rarely about best at most people's price points (I would think mine is common). I would like to get recommendations for what I would consider midline furniture, which should still be quite well made.
