Automotive leather

Hi:
I have and Audi with leather with a matte finish ("Valcona"). The matte finish has been rubbed off (by the local mechanics) on the left side bolster on the drivers seat. The dealership was too lazy to put plastic covers over the seats when I dropped it off and they had the car for several days and were careless. Is there a reasonable fix for this? Anything DIY? The leather on the bolster is in tact (not like Porsche's), just shiny. I thought I would ask the expert here.
