Finery Leather is an aniline lover's dream, this is as natural a finish as there is. YES - it shows every pressure mark, if you don't like that effect this is not your hide. YES - it has high-low overtones all over the hide. YES - its velvety soft, what we in the business call "real" leather. This hide is not for everyone, its a GR 4 price point, it's not one to watch football games in with buttered popcorn and wipe your fingers on the arm, and you WILL get hand and hair oil stains on it if you don't keep it wiped down. But for those that know what they are buying and appreciate it - its terrific.
