Quality of sofa manufacturers and fabric

Taylor King offers the "Taylor Made" line and Calico Corner has a Michael Thomas sofa under the "Selections" line. Can anyone offer a comparison as to quality? Are the made to order lines the same quality as other upholstered products they offer? Also, I've decided on a fabric that TK has but only Calico has it in the Crypton version. If TK is better quality, I wonder is it worth ordering the crypton fabric and doing COM? Durability is 45K without crypton-
