President of the Condo Assn

My store is in a Business Condo Association of units, and I'm recently elected the President of the Association, a job no one really wanted amongst the owners. The prior President didn't do much, but I'm going around once a week identifying problems we need to address. The other owner / tenants are notoriously cheap, so improvements have to be pushed through by (mostly) yours truly.

I pushed for new paint. I got a lot of "Do you really think we need to spend the money?"

Or cracking down on outdoor lighting that is not approved or authorized. "I don't see anything wrong with that, what's the issue?"
