SEO optimization for this forum?

For the most part, this forum is not SEO-optimized and Googling any given sofa topic is far more likely to bring up one of Duane's ancient GardenWeb posts than it is to bring up a topic on this forum.

However, I did notice that as of earlier this week, typing "myfurniture" into Google will now list "myfurnitureforum" as the first suggestion, whereas prior to that "myfurniturestore" was the first suggestion. As a result, I'm a bit curious as to whether this forum has simply become more popular than whatever "myfurniturestore" is, or if there's been some SEO improvements behind the scenes :)

<laughing> I don't even know what "SEO-optimized' means! Aaron and I do nothing to make the forum appear in Google ratings, etc...it's all naturally occurring, so I assume it's just through popular demand.

I don't buy Google keywords or ads, so it just kind of is-what-it-is and gets to be whatever the internet says its going to be.
