Hancock and Moore Sundance Loveseat Sectional Repairable?
Hello,
I'm looking at buying a used 10 year old Sundance Loveseat Sectional with extensive dog scratches on the seat cushions, the scratches have been described as mostly shallow and repairable by someone who knows how. I've not repaired any leather furniture before. Are these dog scratches even repairable? I've been looking online, would Leather Magic Cleaner and Conditioner work or does H&M sell a touch up kit for this?

That appears to be a finished leather. In that case, you would contact someone in your local area that re-paints leather casings and have that done. www.fibernew.com has franchises across the USA that can do that or you can take out the cores and send to Pamela @ www.damagedleathersolutions.com and she is excellent at refinishing.
Re: Hancock and Moore Sundance Loveseat Sectional Repairable?
Thank you so much for this info. How can I tell if it's painted or dyed?
I'm not familiar with re-painting, that sounds like a highly skilled process. Is that something that will last a while or will that generally fade within a few years of re-painting?
Thanks

I am 90% sure that is a painted leather (finished) from the photos. There should be a serial number under the seat cushions on the deck label. With that serial number you can call H&M and get all the specs off that unit including hide, original build date, and dealer it was purchased from.
Yes, re-paint will wear off again over time. All paint wears off eventually.

Awesome, I'll look into that.
Okay, that makes sense. I would hope that repainting with normal wear and tear and away from direct sun would last another 10 years or so, but maybe I'm being optimistic.
I've emailed Pamela as you suggested.
I really appreciate your help. Thank you so much.
