I would appreciate any advice on the following: I've chosen a sofa and have narrowed down the fabric choices to 2. Which one would wear longer?
fab 1 - 53% Acrylic, 11% cotton, 36% polyester
fab 2 - 100 % polyester
Both should wear fine based on content. Does one of them look delicate? If so ask the store a bit more about it. But probably I'd pick the one I like better.
All man-made fibers are subject to piling. 100% Polyester is not considered a good upholstery fabric unless uses as a Microfiber (which has a different construction technique).
My vote would be to go with the blends.

Thanks for the input. I'm going with the blend (which I also happen to like better)!
