identify and value of antique italian furniture

Hello,
i have two nightstands, two dressers, and a large wardrobe. all of which i acquired from family members in 2009, who had just moved here from Italy. they told me the furniture was over 100 years old. i dont even know where to start. help please?!

Photos of the back or underside of the furniture would also be helpful. If there are any identifying names, dates, marks, numbers, etc. they'd likely be there.
