Thread: Stickley loveseat through narrow door

Default Stickley loveseat through narrow door

I am trying to determine whether I will be able to fit a Stickley Memphis loveseat through a 29" door into a den. The corridor leading to the den is also a bit tricky. Since it is a loveseat, it is shorter than the door, and I figure the only possibility would be to try to maneuver it through vertically. The dimensions of the loveseat are W60 D40 H34. I think you are going to need the dimensions without the cushions. I believe that height is with the cushions and will be significantly shorter without them, which might help you.

Doubtful. The ONLY way it will go through would be to stand it on end, and from your photo you don't have enough room to picot it around the jamb and "Walk it" around the corner as your wall protrudes into the room on the latch side.

Not much goes through a 29" doorway.
