How hard is it to change the color of a leather sofa? Is it something that would need to be done professionally? If so, how expensive would that be?

Also, I have a sofa that the cushions feel rough--what kind of conditioner would you recommend? Have you ever used Leather Honey? It seems to get pretty good reviews on Amazon.

If the leather is rough, and its needs a dye job, its probably used up.

To dye a leather all depends on how good a job you want, and of course you have to take it darker, not lighter. If you can't do it yourself, probably not cost effective to hire it done, especially if the hide is rough - that s a sign its deteriorating. I'd opt for a new sofa.
