Default How Do You Buy a B&Y Sectional Long Distance?

    Duane

Thanks so much for the PM message on the B&Y 220 series sectional price. I think the wife has finally seen the wisdom of getting a better grade of furniture than Flexsteel and B&Y is a good compromise between the H&M I want and the Flexsteel "price" she was after.
I have a couple of questions that may be germaine for others on the forum.

    1. I want to go with the B&Y Grade 3 you suggested but how would we go about looking at the leathers if the closest dealer is 3 hours away?
    2. Do any of the B&Y sectionals come with a higher back than 37"?
    3. What are the seat heights of the 220/221 series sectionals in order to pick the ottoman that has a 2" drop?
    4. What do you need in the way of down payment to start the process?
    5. Finally, does it make sense to order a single recliner chair from H&M at around 150 pounds and have it shipped to Idaho? I figure there may be a minimum shipping charge that is not met by a single recliner and the extra shipping may negate any savings from the long distance purchase.

Thanks for your help and I will be in touch.

    Hi Jim,

We do this all the time....

    1) I can get you samples. Just point me to a photo somewhere on the 'net of what you like in color (can be B-Y - can be Hancock and Moore - anyone). Then I can do the work to get a sample group to you based on the photo you like.

    2) Every BY sectional is 37" H, appears they are using the same frame for all of them.

    3) 21.5" Seat Height

    4) 20 % down

    5) Well, depends on how badly you want it. Idaho is one of those states the delivery services hate to go to, just not enough traffic up your way and you have to pay for that remoteness. To ship a single recliner there via Sun Delivery using rates in effect today's date is going to be right at $ 305.

Now here's something you didn't ask! Bradington Young is having an across the board price increase April 18th, my rep just called me this morning to let me know.

    Thanks!
