I'm not sure I understand your question entirely as to styles and matchups?
As to quality/durability, B-Y builds good, solid pieces. I've been a BY dealer MUCH longer than an H&M dealer and as a result have (2) sofas and (2) of their recliners and (1) loveseat in my own home, all in leather. Everything has held up well with no issues for as long as I've owned it, and I don't get customer complaints or issues on any of their pieces as a whole. Several of my pieces are at the 20 year mark. Like all leather furniture, the key to longevity is to clean and condition it on a regular basis and don't put them in direct sunlight.
Leather grades are PRICE grades, not quality / durability grades.
