Butler's Tea Table in figured cherry, by John Buchanan
I have always likes this design, but don't care for the slab mahogany made with rabbit-joints that I see out there amongst the mass producers. So I had John make one up to my specs, using hand-scraped surfaces, hand-cut dovetails in the corners and I think it came out very well. As a bonus, John has some figured cherry stashed away and enough to make this piece (try to buy this lumber at the mill, its extremely difficult to come by). $ 1,199 in the store, just arrived
