Leonards Hepplewhite Reprod. Bed Value?

I have a king size Leonards Hepplewhite mahogany four poster reproduction bed with turned and inlaid posts and finials all around. I would like to sell it as we are downsizing now that the kids are off to college. It was purchased new 11 years ago. I'm trying to determine it's value. Thanks for your help.

Hi Dean and welcome to the forum. The Leonard's bed (made by Stephen Plaud of Rhode Island) is probably the finest bed you can buy in the USA. They are 100 % benchmade using only the highest quality materials. The carvings and the inlay both are done by hand, and it utilizes true 8-way bolt-up rail construction. If you were to buy that bed new today, it would be appx $ 8,000 as configured. I would think that for an interested party, $ 5K to $ 6K would be a reasonable price. Good luck!
