Scanning the motorcycle section of Craigslist every day, I was FINALLY rewarded with that one in a million 'barn find' the other day. A "Moto Guzzi Daytona" first year model (1993) , chassis # 44 (out of 50 brought into the USA), and it was for sale 6 miles from my store. The original owner pushed it in a corner of his warehouse 12 years ago, and it hasn't been run since 1999. Only 3,861 miles on it. I bought it on the spot, this is a true collectible and very few ever appear for sale on this continent. Its going to need a lot of elbow grease and TLC to bring it back, but the parts are all there. I've got to go over every rubber part and change all the fluids before I attempt to see it will start, and I've been in the garage every night knocking out my checklist on it. I'm having a blast with it, but it took me two full nights to figure out the wiring system on the bike, since Italians really don't care much for correct wire color coding! As of tonight I have the starter engaging with a good spin, the engine is not locked up and by Sunday i will probably be ready to fuel it and see if it runs. Such eye candy, no one designs a bike like the Italians....

Sure beats watching TV at night!
