    Default Century Leather or?

New to the forum with some questions. I am currently replacing my Thomasville Ashby blue (yes I know blue) sofa and chairs. I am looking for a more transitional look as my style in furniture has changed. I have a British Gentry entertainment unit as well as end tables and a cocktail table.

Because of the layout of the room (rather awkward) we are looking at a sectional and maybe a chair. The current furniture is a bit oversized for the room and I need something that can be ordered to fit rather than a premade unit.

My SO and I have looked a bit and are considering having something made from the Century Cornerstone line as it can be ordered in specific sizes. We do want leather and high quality as we plan on keeping this investment for a long time. What other manufactures should we consider?

Any idea on what we may be able to sell our current sofa and chairs for? They are in perfect condition, but just too large for this room.

You should check out Hancock & Moore. My understanding is that it is the best leather furniture made in the U.S. If I'm not mistaken, I think custom sizes can be ordered (although it will significantly increase the price).

Century is a good, solid, mid-level brand, but I think a sectional is wrong for your room based on your diagram. Room photos would help to refine the layout styles.

You would have to post photos and specs of your current furniture, you don't tell us what it is....

Here are some images. they are from an iPhone and the quality is not the best, but this is how the furniture has been arranged. We only open the door on the right so the left door is stationary and the sofa has been in fromt of it.

You're really kind of stuck in that room - the big Entertainment center really throws off the balance of the room so nothing is going to be 'right', just pick a lesser evil.

If that was my room AND I could not relocate the Entertainment Center, then I would probably put something like this in there rather than a L-sectional, with the chaise flipped so its by the door:

Then a loveseat on the side wall next to the fireplace, and instead of a wood coffee table I'd go with a leather ottoman.

Interesting. We are gong to ditch the coffee table for something else and a leather ottoman would give us more seating when it is needed. I like the idea of the chaise by the door. What ottoman would you recommend? I am not sold on any particular manufacturer, I just know I want a high quality one.

Could you possible pm me with an idea of the price range of this sofa in leather? I know it will vary with the level of the leather.
