Default Various Pieces in my Home

One of the my favorite pieces, this one taken from one I have in my home. 84-year-old George Beshore of Pennsylvania makes one of these per year, by himself. He's slowed down quite a bit now, when he was in his 70's I could get 6 or 7 a year from him, but now he quite elderly, and they only trickle in.

The detail on these is just stunning, from the hand-cut molding to the special hinges he has made at Ball and Ball hardware. A true collectors piece and one I proudly display in my living room at home.

    Expensive.

Default Gateleg Hankerchief Table by Mark Emirzian

I was browsing through an old 1970's vintage Kittinger catalog of Colonial Williamsburg a few years back and came across this fine and delicate table. No one was making anything like it, so I commissioned Mark Emirzian to build the piece, and it was well-recieved by customers. This is one I have in my own home that is under the Beshore Cupboard and makes the perfect complimentary piece. Handmade, one at a time.

    Under $ 2,000.

Default Slate Top Lowboy by Eldred Wheeler

I used to be a very large dealer for Eldred Wheeler, back when the company was new and they had highly talented people there. In 1986, I had them build this Slate Top Lowboy for me from an original antique with the same coloring (black/red). The slate in the middle was to enable the placement of hot dishes on the piece without fear of damaging it.

This unit was hand-painted by John Pendergast and Mike Bushway, back when E.W. had real talent working there. A favorite of mine!
