    Default Kent Coffey Dresser

So I have this mid century Kent Coffey The Viking. The veneer is cracked off in a couple spots and needs to be sanded and refinished on the top and sides. Should I invest the money into this job if my only goal is to just resell this later?

I know nothing about this dresser and company and dont know if it has any value...any input would be appreciated.

Photos are terrible, seriously! One cannot use an out-of-focus low res cell photo camera and expect an evaluation of a piece.

The pics are not the best quality for sure, but they serve the purpose of showing the style. I have already stated there is veneer patchwork needed and the whole thing needs refinishing...what else are you looking for in pics?

I was hoping someone here had an idea the value of this brand and style (shown in pics) of dresser.

    Thanks for the reply.

Based on what you've sent I would have to say the piece is not worth repairing and has no resale value to speak of. Common elements on the chest are unremarkable.

It looks like a fairly generic piece from the 1950s, so I looked up the brand, and--apparently--it is quite popular with some MCM enthusisasts. Here are a few links I found. If you love the piece, you might get some ideas here about how to best refinish it, or if it's best just to sell. Good luck!
