If your core cushions on upholstery are looking a little tired, don't just fluff them - if you have a zipper on the cover, remove them entirely and give them a good mashing about, then re-install them in the casing. You might be surprised how rejuvenated they will be afterwards.

We had to replace the cushions on our Rowe sofa with their firmest ones (and we had to pay $300 for them--which we wouldn't have done if we hadn't gotten the sofa free from the Red Sox promotion), because the cushions that came with the sofa were too cushy and not at all comfortable. It's better, but we learned our lesson about sofa quality. The difference in comfort between the LR Rowe sofa and the Kindel loveseat in the office is unbelievable. Next time we shop for a sofa, it will be upholstered H&M.
