Hello-
I bought a couple of throne chairs which I got at a very good price. I would rather have had leather upholstered because of its wearability but couldn't afford this; but actually I ended up with the chairs by unplanned chance opportunity.
The problem is, although they are very nice and practically new, they are all upholstered in white fabric.
The work done to upholster them is such that I wouldn't dare try reupholstering them in anything else.
Yet because of the white fabric I'm kind of leery about having people sit in/use them at all. And of course if anyone accidentally spilled a drink, ugh.
This will not do! Its the first thing people want to do when they see them lol.
Is there any kind of spray anyone would recommend, you can apply to the fabric to make it permanently more durable/stain resistant, and wear safe? More like leather?
I've searched on the Web and found something called Aqua Armor, something called a TPU membrane or liquid polymer clay:

No idea, I'm completely dumb in this area. Just don't want to ruin the chairs, but sure would like to make the white fabric more wear resistant.
Open to suggestions! Thanks much
