    Default Please Help

My cat peed on my leather sofa I bought from you a couple of years ago. Can you please advice how to have this cleaned or what I can do. there was a sheet on the sofa, but it still saturated the leather and I can smell it when getting close to it.

I just wiped it down and dried it. DId not saturate down to the pad.

Maybe there is nothing I can do.

    thanks in advance.......U

I don't think there is anything you can do short or replacing the leather. sorry. Give it time to dry out, but likely it will always have that odor - once its in the hide, it tends to stay in.

You can get Nature's Miracle at any pet store.

I do know that vinegar neutralizes the scent of urine, so if the NM doesn't work (although that would surprise me) I would suggest cleaning the leather with a 50/50 mixture of soapy water and vinegar.

It is o.k to put Vinegar on that leather.

    Here's what I found:

But I'd try the Nature's Miracle, too. It really does neutralize the odor. And it's wonderful to use on carpets if one of your animals has an "accident." We always keep a bottle handy in the kitchen (although, fortunately, we seldom have to use it now).
