The specs for the 2010 Angelo Tilt Back and the 2038NB Austin High Back Tilt Back are nearly the same.
The Austin is .25" taller, 1" wider and 5.5" deeper than the Angelo.
The Angelo's inside seat dimensions are 1" wider than the Austin's.
If the Austin fits a 6'2" man perfectly, wouldn't the Angelo fit him similarly?
Is there a noticeable difference in the seating comfort of the two chairs?
Are there any differences between the two chairs that a customer would want to know about? My husband and I have sat in the very comfortable Austin HB TB, but there is no Angelo to be found in our area. I prefer the Angelo because it is smaller, but I do not want to deprive my husband of the chair he loves if the Angelo is not as comfortable.
Thank you!
The Angelo is a more up-to-date looking variant of the tried and true Austin. If I were to assign a value to it, I'd say its 80% of the comfort of The King of Comfort (that would be the Austin High Back series 2038NB). Don't put too much faith in the measured specs, handmade upholstery can vary +/- 2" on all the pieces in any direction. If comfort is primary - stay with the Austin.

Thank you, Duane. I'll stick with the Austin.
Weird, the Angelo chair has disappeared from the H&M website? Or was it never there to begin with?
Its been discontinued.....
