H&M # 6275 Restoration Sofa / # 4274 Restoration Chair in Bari Ebony
Once in a while you get to do a project with a customer and it comes out PERFECT. Not just great - PERFECT. We did these two pieces (plus the 7056 Lounger, not photographed) for a local customer who came in the store and wanted something classy and different. Lightly customized, elegant and a good leather. We worked through the leathers for some time and came up with Bari Ebony (GR 3) being the one as its soft, matte, has a great texture and tailors up well on the Restoration pieces. To give it some interest, I suggested a mild custom and we put Soho Ebony in the vertical arm panels of all three pieces for a slight upcharge. Finally, instead of black legs (what most people select with black leather) we did the Denmark finish.
I have to tell you I was really pleased when I unpacked these pieces and saw them. They came out even better than I thought they would and Bari turned out to be the right choice.
