quick question, looking at a used H&M set of grade II protected leather from CL,
The pieces seem well maintained, no fading, stains etc. But one thing caught my eye that I just wanted to run by the experts here since I'm new to "real" leather furniture.
There seem to be a few small white specs on one of the pieces and I'm not sure if it's something related to lack of cleaning/care over the years. i tried to gently scratch them off but they didn't seem to be raised like paint spatter or anything. I should have taken a picture.
anyway, has anyone here heard of this before? is this something related to the fabric wearing badly that could get worse over time?
White specs are usually paint splatter, especially if you can pick them off.

OK thanks. I realize it was probably a dumb question but wanted to be sure it wasn't something serious.
