Most people like that piece, and I find it comfortable but a tad bulky looking. You can't probably tell the difference in person, but I could. That's a tough call to ID leathers. Because he overpaid for the piece by a factor of two, he will not likely take the offer you make but I would say $ 1,200 tops...and only if it looked brand new.
