HI, I'm new to this site, but like all the great info. I'm looking for a leather sectional for my family room which is long and narrow. My thought was a chaisse on one side and a corner sofa on the other. The corner sofa needs to be about 97 inches or shorter. We have two labs, and three kids therefore want it to last. Any suggestions?
Here is a picture of my family room. I've looked at Hancock and Moore, doesn't seem like they have a chaise option. Looked at Bradington Young, but wasn't sure I liked the leather feel, most samples were in L2 finished. I'm thinking a sectional will satisfy our seating needs and will look less cluttered.
Are you looking for leather or fabric? Its not clear from the posts.
Is this something like you had in mind?

Beautiful home, by the way. I agree a sectional may be the best choice.

Leather as we have two labs and 3 kids and this is where we all hang out, therefore want a casual, comfy sectional. We have a sofa from Leather Trend that has held up nicely with lots of activity, I just don't know what type of leather is on it. Looking for something that will last, but not leather that is so protected that it feels like plastic. We think the best fit would be a chaise on the further end of the room with an armless sofa along the wall and a corner sofa piece parallel to the kitchen table. It's this length that we are restricted to under 100 inches. It seems most corner sofa pieces are 100 or more. I saw a B&Y Warner model that would fit but didn't like the feel of the leathers on display (grade 2 finished). H&M said they'd custom make a chaise, but I haven't been able to see a floor model yet that I like. Their city model wasn't comfy enough for what we are looking for. Any worried that a custom chaise from H&M would brake the bank!
thanks so much for your input.
B-Y has some excellent hides in the GR5 "Grafton Place" handle, I'm sure you can find some good leathers in that or the GR 4 "London Park" grouping.
To do a custom sectional from H&M you'll be into 5 digits on the price in that configuration, I'm sure. Its' the chaise that is holding you up I think, as there are several sectionals that will work otherwise. Go to the Bradington Young site then >SECTIONALS>221 Series>Sectional Seating by Design .pdf. I think if you scroll through that you will find you can put together what you are looking for in a nice hide - around $ $7K.
