Kipling comes out of either Italy or China (they have two facilities) and Weston is German. While both are very nice hides (I have Kipling on my recliner at home) the Weston is more 'buttery' and softer than Kipling. I would consider Weston a step above Kipling. They are reasonably uniform for a pure aniline.

Any of the burnished leathers will be stiffer and less soft than Weston by their nature. The Steeplechase Polished likewise.

It really depends on what you like visually, and the texture / hand you want.

Thanks Duane! Do you think if we went with the Austin sofa in Weston Mocha and the Miller tufted lounger in Steeplechase Tan, that a tufted Robinson ottoman in Cameo Brown burnsihed or Imperial Whiskey burnished be a good match?

Mocha is light-waxy soft, and Steeplechase is heavy-waxy and firmer, so you have different sheens and textures which is not necessarily bad, but your Steeplechase covered piece will feel more crisp and look more shiny. Depends on if you want variance or sameness. Ottomans ALWAYS look good in any burnished leather....

Duane, thanks much for your opinion. I think you have settled our color choices and we are going to go with the Weston series...mocha, cane, and cane burnished....I'll send you a pm.
