Question Sofa Delivery & the Standard 36" Doorway

Could someone (anyone) explain any secrets they may be aware of for getting a sofa that is measured as 37" High x 44" Deep x 90" Wide through a standard size 36" Wide x ??" High doorway?

Also realize the legs are probably 3" of the overall height but not sure whether they are removable and there is also a pair (front & back) in the middle.

Physics says it can not be done; but that what they said about 'dark matter and dark energy'.

You can't determine for sure if a sofa will go through a doorway on measurements alone. because most are tilted at 45 degrees to egress a throughway. I can tell you that the one you are looking at will go through a 36" doorway with no issue provided the arms are not as high as the back. If you can post a photo of the piece in question and your egress area I can tell for sure. Also, you may want to read this:

Here are two invaluable sources for assistance in figuring out whether furniture will fit through a door or stairway:

If these experts can't help you try Simplicity Sofas, a mid-priced furniture manufacturer that specializes in Furniture for Small Spaces. The company makes self-assembly sofas, sleepers, chairs and sectionals guaranteed to fit through any opening wider than 15 inches.
