Harper would look great....what leather are you thinking for it? I'm liking the lighter ones myself ....

I have ordered all the navy leather samples and Steeplechase bone polished and Tierra French Luggage--- so I will be doing either a navy or a lighter tan/brown leather.
Thanks for all your help!
I think I am going with Terra French Luggage for the Harper sofa. Just have to find a wood finish now! Thanks for everyones help in this. I feel like I am making progress!
Hi Everyone! It is August and YES my Hancock & Moore Harper sofa was delivered yesterday! It is simply gorgeous. It is for my husband's office. At the end I was deciding between a navy and Hyde Park Tan lightly burnished. I went with the Hyde Park Tan with hardly any burnishment. It is a very small room, all mahogany paneled with built ins. My husband's desk is vey large. The rug we chose is pictured above. The photos are not that good as the room is hard to photograph. The wood trim color I went with is oiled Mahogany with the DD oil gold nailhead trim. The HARPER sofa is so beautiful. /Users/dhood/Desktop/photo.JPG/Users/dhood/Desktop/IMG_9717.JPG/Users/dhood/Desktop/IMG_9698.JPG

Wow, what a beautiful sofa. It looks perfect in that room. Congratulations!
Thank you so much! I learned so much from all of you at The Keeping Room! I will always come back here when I am ready to order more! And Thank you Duane for all your input!
Nice! That came out really well...and as you can see, NO ONE does button tufting like H&M, they really don't. Looks like a great fit for the room and the lighter tone was the way to go. Navy would have made the room too dark. Good pick! And thank you for your business!

HI Duane, Thanks again for your help. You are so right about button tufting. We received a card from H & M signed by 8 different people that worked on our sofa. The leather is amazing.
We did almost an entire house remodel and this is my favorite piece. It is also the piece I "stressed" the most about before and after the order was placed. My next visit to DC I am visiting your store. My daughter has lived in DC for 10 years. I know I will be adding another H & M leather piece soon. In the meantime I just learning more by reading your awesome forum....
Thanks for the kind words! If you want to do me a quick favor - pop over to YELP and write a review. There's some angry woman giving me a bad rep over there <grumble> and I need a couple of decent reviews to even-out my 'star' rating!

Yes, I know, its bad form to request a positive review ....lol
Here's a little interesting factoid about tufting....did you know that is the highest skilled job in a furniture factory? It's very hard to do right, with deep buttons and perfect diamonds in the tuft - and those are the highest paid workers in the plant. You never see really young people doing tufting, its the middle aged men and women who have come up through the ranks and are masters at their craft. And H&M buttons are sewn on, not done like cheaper furniture where they use a 'tagging gun' to insert the button onto the support webbing. Those that are installed like that tend to pop off over time whereas a sewn on one is very rare in coming off the piece.
