Lucky to you both! My CFA isn't coming until June!

Thanks for the information on paint and leather suggestions. I also think the area rug is beautiful with your leather choices.

Well at least you already have some nice furniture to sit on, DCGator. I just have my Tiburon Butternut sample on the arm of my old dying chair, so I can fondle it while I sit and wait.

HA ! Sun Delivery will be there before you know it....though it may seem like they're moving via Conestoga Wagon Train when you're waiting.....

Duane wrote to tell me that my pieces were finished and in the hands of Sun Delivery, then it was weeks until I heard from Sun. They gave me a time, then called two hours before delivery and added another day. I had to rearrange things to meet them, then they still came 3 hours after that scheduled time. Fortunately the delivery men were great and had everything in my house with ease. After the many months of planning and waiting, the furniture is a pleasure to have in my home.

Beautiful works of art! You have great taste. (I used to go to Deep Creek Lake for skiing and then for business--have wonderful memories.)

Thanks, Sheriink. Deep Creek is a wonderful place! My husband's family has had a place there since the '40s.

Cruncysue, I am sure you are getting anxious for your delivery. Hope you will post photos.

Remember how excited I was when I had the sample rings, and I posted about a million pictures of them? I think we can safely assume that the same thing will happen when the actual furniture arrives! According to http://sundeliveryinc.com, my order has been "released for shipment," which I imagine means they've unpacked, inspected, and repacked it in LA and are about to put it on a truck to Portland. They say I can expect a call sometime in the next two weeks.
