We have a Bishop Chair (8587) that we purchased in 1988, it's still a great chair, but, now we'd like to do a couple of things, 1) add another H&M chair, not sure what style yet, and 2) replace both the upper and lower cushions. Our chair is in "Manchester Maroon" which H&M no longer lists. My question is: Does anyone know which of the leathers currently available is the closest match to "Manchester Maroon"?
Thanks,
Guy
That leather is long gone, sorry. You can cut the 'flag' off under the seat and have a dealer send it into H&M for you, or simply go to a store and look through the swatches. If you are the original owner of the chair, the cushion cores are at no charge. Contact your selling dealer for replacement if they are still in business.

Thanks for your reply, I thought it was a long shot. We've taken the 'flag' to our local dealer to send back to H&M for matching. In addition, we also took along a cushion from our 8115 to have them matched and replaced, unfortunately it's tag is long gone so the leather is unknown. (Readers please note that we're only replacing our cushions due to cat damages, otherwise they'd still be fine after 25+ years!)
Our next question is: What leather to select for our next H&M chair(s) that will match. We're looking at adding one or two of either the 7039, 4703G or 5722G chairs. After deciding on chair style, the next major criteria are color matching and leather. Can you give us any pointers on how to do that?
Your original leather is so old that no one will remember what it looks like, You'll need to just take the 'flag' and go through the current leathers with it to see what matches up.
