Default help identifying age of this furniture?

    Hi, David from Mississippi here.

We inherited this furniture from my wife's grandmother, who had inherited it from her mother, maybe her great grandmother, we aren't sure.

Anyway, we are curious to know how old it is. I did some research online and it said you can tell by the type of dovetail joints and also by symmetry and the type of fasteners used.

I have attached a few pictures, does this give any indication to how old it is?

The decorative pieces on the chairs (cutouts) and the bottoms of the feet/legs on the table are not symmetrical.

The backing board on the furniture (piece against the wall on the buffet table) is like plywood which made me think it's not that old? did they use plywood in antiquity?

Any ideas? Would love to know.

We plan on refinishing it and keeping it around for another generation!

David; Doors in my house were hung about 1875. They have pine wood core of about two inches thick with quarter inch veneered walnut on each face. So you may have old veneered pieces.

Poor quality photos make any evaluation impossible

Much better photos. Those are all 20th Century pieces, using high speed production machinery and joinery techniques with modern hardware. They do not have any collectible value, sorry.
