This just arrived this afternoon, a custom piece for one of our forum members. It was made to order, 64" L x 18" D x 25" H of solid black cherry and tiger maple. It's fully mortised & tenon-ed - no spline or dowel joints, this is built like a tank. Shelves are not moveable, everything is fixed. I've no doubt it could support the entire weight of a car if it were placed on top of it, that's how solid and heavy this is. It used up a lot of 8/4" solid stock, so pieces like this do not come cheap. $ 2,250. Should last 1,000 years if not caught up in a house fire or used too much as a car support .

It's quite stunning - like nothing you've seen before.
