    Smile Lazyboyfurniture

I am looking at purchasing a lazyboy leather chair and ottoman, but recently read some negative reviews about their furniture. I'm wondering about their quality. Loved how comfortable it was and it says it will have a warranty, but I 'm always Leary of those.

La-Z-Boy has some of the worst product build on the market in my opinion, of the 'name' brands. They use a sub-standard framing materials and a high content of re-cycled heavy-duty cardboard in their builds. You can make cardboard very, very strong (and they do) but eventually it will absorb humidity and moisture and degrade. Their mechanisms are not very strong, either. Everything sits well when its new! I'd expect a 5 to 7 year lifespan for their products.
