Special Ordering a H&M Sofa

Hi Duane,

It would be worthwhile for us to request a cutting when we place our order since there seems to be such a variation in color/texture from one swatch to another. My opinion of two swatches of the same leather has run the the range from "this is really ugly" to "wow! I love it!". So, as you can see, it would make sense for us to order a cutting from the actual hide that will be used.

I haven't noticed a big difference in color on Java samples, but there have been with the saddle and whiskey. So, at the time that we place our order and request a cutting, would it be possible to request both the Kipling Saddle and Whiskey for the recliner so that we can base our decision on the actual leather that would be used?

Absolutely we can do this as long as you don't mind the time delay. Realistically it will mean about 4 months delivery from time of order before you see the piece arrive at your home (assuming approval on the cuttings within a day or two of receiving them).

Sometimes, I send out cuttings for approval and the customer doesn't reply for a month - so that can add to the delay as well.

Duane, that sounds great...please let me know when you hear back from H&M about customization of the Evening. If we place our order with you this month, will we still be able to get in on the 5% discount since we are requesting cuttings that will delay production? Thanks- Marianne

Will do! The order has to be in hand before they will send out Cuttings For Approval, so as long as you order by March 4th, you can get the 5%.
