Ferguson Copeland leather sleepy hollow chair

We already purchased this - at the time we thought it was made by MacKenzie-Dow, since we were in their store. Just wondering how we figure out what the quality of what we bought is. I was told it was American made with sold wood framing. I do love the chair's design but can't find anything on the manufacturer's website that gives me more information on their quality.

We are thinking about a MacKenzie-Dow dining room table but I may post for that separately.

I used to carry MacKenzie-Dow (briefly, one order). I became disillusioned with them for two reasons:

1) I ordered a set of 6 chairs from them and when they arrived they were 'Made in China". This after I was repeatedly told everything they did was USA. And the seat bases didn't fit right.

2) I also ordered a table with stow-away leaves and it gave me fits trying to get it those stow-away leaves integrated into the table so it would operate correctly. I worked on that table about 4 hours, sanding and even cutting segments of the slots to get it to go together. Imagine if that had been drop-shipped to a customer say in California?

I don't like makers that don't test fit their product before shipping and build with incorrect tolerances. So I dropped the line. No idea on Ferguson Copeland, sorry.
