Today I bought an awesome Sherrill chair off the floor of a local furniture store. The chair has been discontinued from the Sherrill line and is covered on the outside and arms with a wonderfully soft leather with tons of nailheads. The seating area is a sturdy upholstery fabric that, while not a fabric I would have chosen, is a great pattern to mix in with my other furniture for the log lake house. Oh, the best part? I paid $675!

That's a great price on that chair, I would imagine it normally retails for about 2x that - its a fairly complex style. I like it! You can get a furniture marker and touch up that scratch on the leg, hit it with a little "0000" steel wool afterwards and never see it. Strong working shopping - good eye for a deal.

Way to go - that is a great deal for a Sherrill piece!
