    Default Movers lost my sofa

    Hello,

I purchased a sofa in 2009 which my moving company managed to lose recently. I'm trying to figure out who made it so I can get a replacement cost. Any ideas of where to find people who might know? I bought it somewhere in Detroit but can't remember where. I'll attach pictures in case someone miraculously recognizes it.

    Thanks for any advice.

I can't help with identifying your sofa, but I'm sorry it was lost. I hope you can figure out a value quickly and find a replacement. I have never heard of movers losing furniture before. This is a new one for me.

How do they lose a sofa? Or on the other hand how does someone find a sofa? Sounds like the old five finger discount at work here. Maybe it "fell off the truck".

It's easy to lose furniture, it happens all the time. Most furniture has a adhesive tag put on it, then is wheeled into a warehouse with a lot of other furniture. If the tag falls off or is lost, then the piece is just loose in the warehouse and no one knows which order it belongs to. Believe me when I tell you the last thing they want to do is replace it with a new one. If you send them the photos of the piece, it may help them to locate it.
