    Default Painted Furniture

Hey Guys, This is my first thread so be gentle

I had an old bedroom set (10+ years) that has survived about 6 moves and was pretty beat up. I repaired a few pieces that were falling off or about to, filled some dings and nail holes and used a LVHP painter to give it new life.

The problem I'm having over a month later from painting it - is that it's somewhat tacky _still_. If I leave a box of tissues on my nightstand, within 2 days it's somewhat clingy to the paint.

Is there something I should have added to the paint or perhaps a coating I can apply to give painted furniture a less/non-tacky surface?

Sounds like you have un-cured paint on the pieces. Perhaps the wrong paint choice for the project and too many coats applied while still not set up? Not many options at this point, you could wait it out and see if it cures (keep it as dry and hot as possible in the room), or strip it and start over. What you don't want to to is spray something else over the top of it at this point.
