Hi all. First post here. I was at a local dealer and they had 3 samples of weston leather. One was matte, the 2nd was a little glossy, and the 3rd was quite glossy. I prefer a more matte look and a buttery feel. Someone in another post said he thought Weston was buttery and rich (in my words). Can you tell me if this is true?
Or is it a more glossy/waxed look?
thanks!
Weston has a light waxy topcoat to it, and that can both vary and wear down over time. For that reason, I always toss out my master set of swatches that are over three years old in the store and get fresh ones. That store may have some very old Weston Samples and the 3rd one could be newer.
