Hello all,

I am new to the site but appreciate all of the great information here. We are in the market for a $4500-6000 large fabric sectional with chaise to fill a 20x25 room with 10 foot ceilings. We are in NJ but looking to purchase the sofa to be shipped to our new house in Florida. We are looking at something like this: 1) LF armed loveseat connected to 2) a corner chair or wedge connected to 3) armless 3 seat soft connected to 4) RF Chaise.
Sizing is in the ballpark of 90-100 x 140-160

A few things we decided were important to us:

1) quality fabric-we saw the sunbrella fabric at our local cococo.com (comfortable couch company) studio and were impressed with the durability and feel. We are in our early 30's and looking to start a family in the next few years. We aren't particularly hard on our furniture but want something which will last us 15-20 years.

2) 8 way hand tied-some had it, some don't. Is it worth a premium?

3) Made in USA from start to finish is important to us.

4) Comfort-we seem to be gravitating toward a blend of fiber and feather down. We want a soft, comfortable couch which will not sag. Is this worth a premium for comfort? Is there an issue with the feathers coming out of the couch at some point?

-We checked out carolinachair.com which appeared to have the best 'value' for what we are looking for, is anyone familiar with it? [$4800-5k in sunbrella+$350-500 for blended fiber/down]

-We also checked out cococo (sunbrella, not sure of the grade and comes with the blended fiber/feather down--we thought this couch was the most comfortable) and Mitchell Gold/Bob Williams (level 3 fabric, no sunbrella). Both appear to be around the same price of $6k+shipping for a couch of this size but neither use the 8 way hand tied method. We also saw a brand called Masterfield which was around $5500 without a blended fiber/feather and no sunbrella but 8 way hand tied.

Thank you for reading this long post, please advise if our budget is feasible for our needs and which brand is best for us.

Matt
