Default Reserve and Member Apartment size

I am now thinking of replacing my white sofa with either the Reserve or Member Apartment size sofa. Do you think that the style of those compliments the Chancellor? Could you quote me a price for grade 2 and 3 leathers? Thanks so much........Ulli

    Hi Ulli,

Tell you what, I like some other frames better to go with your existing # 1283 Campaign sofa. Here's my list (some of these may be too long in length, but none are longer than 83):

    # 5037 Griffin
    # 5161 Claudette
    # 1983 Welch
    # 4246 Times Button Tufted (just to break the look up a bit)

I have to say from a design aspect, I'm not sure I like the rolled arms of the Reserve or Member - nor the legs, in coordintating with your Campaign Sofa. How do you like the ones above that I listed?

    Default Sofa versus Chair

Well, I actually hired an interior designer today (it is not too expensive) to help me. He said that it would be better to have a chair or two, instead of two sofas. I now agree with his idea.

I am interested in the Lennon Chair because it has simple lines and still looks comfortable. What do you think?

I have a Lennon chair here in the store and it sits well. It's only 1" less in width than the matching Campaign chair - do you prefer a different style for the chair from your sofa?

    Default Bradely

No, I just want a comfortable chair to relax in that does not feel too heavy and masculine. I would like those removable cushions in the back and seat area and I love the idea of the rollers on the legs. I do not like the heavy legs and I do like the high back of the sofa i bought.

What do you think of the Bradley?

Got it! The Bradley is a great chair, but its larger than the Lennon. I'll give the Bradley the nod on comfort, its a very good sitter. I have the tilt back model w/ottoman on my sales floor in Capri leather, its a grand chair. Very plush.

I see the chair is in the T&C very affordable in fabric and around 1700 in the document leather. I am just not comfortable with fabric, nor am I comfortable with just buying any chair to make do for the moment. I leaning towards the document maize color but will most likely end up with the Equestrian Wheat. I just love that leather.

I knew you would like that Grade 3 Equestrian! That's what we in the trade call 'real leather'. Document is OK, and they sure do sell a lot of it, but its heavily processed and once you have 'real leather' you tend to be a bit spoiled by it.....
