Hello. I am currently looking at a Thayer Cogen sofa. The owner claims to no longer have any documents to its validity. Does anyone know if there are distinct markings that I can find on the framework that would help?

There should be at least a label stating it was made in North Carolina by Thayer Coggin. You can also submit photos of the piece to Thayer Coggin & ask if they ever produced this item.
