Default Request for Family Room Furniture Help

    Duane and Company,

This forum is an incredible resource. I wonder if two York sofas would work in my family room. Any advice would be helpful.

    Thank You

Sure they would fit, but I have to tell you I would be more inclined to use the York Sectional in the space vs two sofas, it will give you better flow.

Other Decorating tips for your room.....(not that you really asked)

    * The white shelf set needs to go, its not doing a thing for you being that scan style chair.
    * The end table is too large that is next to the white shelf unit. Should be half that size.
    * The area rug is fighting your flooring. Would look better with a solid darker gray or taupe for the rug, no pattern, just a bound edge
    * Mount the TV on the wall, get it up and off the case piece. Easy to do, you can get a hidden wire kit from Lowe's for $ 30 and a flat wall mount for $ 65.
    * Put a piece of art over the fireplace of your choosing.

    Hope that helps!

Yeah I'd agree, they most certainly will fit. You have a very bright spacious room, providing you stick with the cream walls and carpet I'm sure the larger sofas won't be an issues.

I agree with drcollie, some artwork is needed above the fireplace to bring a splash of colour.
