    Default Help with identifying nightstands

I picked a pair of nightstands up from a friend. I realize they are not high quality but I would like to know if anyone knows anything about them such as age, maker, value (if any), etc. I took a picture of the writing that is on the back of each one. Thanks!

Those are classic 1950's era. Value is nil, however, the construction build is poor at best. Sorry.

Yea, unfortunately they're not made very well at all. BUT, that look is very in now. I'd redo them in a bright, poppy color using a high gloss/lacquer finish & seriously clean up & shine the classic Atomic era hardware. Afterwards, you'd have a really cute, hip set of nightstands that you can either keep or sell for a few hundred bucks on CL or eBay.

Lol yes, I know, I know...they're c*** pieces, I'm not by any means discounting that. But, she's got 'em now & might as well make lemonade outta lemons, or just toss them? Oh well...if it's THAT bad( & it does look bad! That's either brown Formica, or some of the worst veneer work I've seen in a long time,) maybe just tossing them is the way to go?

I stand by my earlier opinion on the hardware tho. She could clean & polish those up & sell them easily! Atomic age anything doesn't last long these days on CL, eBay & Etsy.
