I took delivery of my new Hancock and Moore Metro (style 4390) sofa from Duane at The Keeping Room a week ago and I couldn't be happier. I was originally looking for a fabric sleeper sofa (see this thread) for a couple reasons: 1) I wanted a casual style and 2) I thought I could save money with fabric. Thanks to Duane knowing about a promotion by H&M, I could get Grade II leather (Berkshire Harness) for very little more than fabric. I chose the skip-stitch option to add some interest and "casualize" the style a little more. I've attached some photos of the sofa in my apartment for your perusal and Duane also took a few.
One thing that pleasantly surprised me was the warranty booklet that contained the signatures of the craftsmen that built and inspected my sofa (including one who's job is "Sewer" ).
In the interest of full disclosure, I've known Duane as a friend for a number of years. That said, I'm very wary of mixing friends and business for fear of ruining the friendship. I needn't have any worry. Duane was a pleasure to work with and definitely knows furniture and, importantly, his vendors and suppliers.
I made Jim lift the other end of his new sofa into his place <G>
