Does anyone have any recommendations concerning an H & M leather that approximates the now discontinued Garfield Chestnut? Much thanks.
...it's been gone too long....I can't recall it!

Not to worry! I have the same problem. That leather is on a couple of neko chairs with photos posted on the forum. I will see if i can find the date.

Luggage Russett was the closest color match that I could find to Garfield Chestnut when I tried to replace a sofa damaged during delivery. However, the two leathers felt different.
I don't care for the Luggage series, its a GR 4 that has a hand of a GR 2. If you are going to pay GR 4 money for a leather, then get something like Capri or Quintessence.

KevinD,
I took Duane's advice about purchasing a sofa in a Quintessence leather instead of trying to match the Garfield Chestnut with Luggage Russet. My experience with Quintessence leather has been very positive and everyone that sits on it loves it. http://www.myfurnitureforum.com/show...ghlight=desert
If you are looking for a brown leather, I also have two bar stools in Burl Cocoa (another leather Duane recommended). http://www.myfurnitureforum.com/show...highlight=Burl This leather gets better looking with lots of use, pressure marks and scuff marks easily rub out and it leaves the leather looking better each day.
If I had to buy Neko chairs again, I would select from Capri, Quintessence, and the Burl leathers.
Great advice; the Burl cocoa is an interesting color. Your sofa looks stunning.
